To keep the Center for Visual and Performing Arts open and serving as the Northwest Indiana region’s premier arts and events destination.
The CVPA is Northwest Indiana’s number one arts center and serves at the vibrant home to the area’s most vital cultural assets: the South Shore Arts Gallery, Theatre at the Center, the Northwest Indiana Symphony and Trama Catering and Events. Each year, these thriving organizations provide 40,000 Region and South Suburbs residents with equity-class theater, a professional art gallery, special events space, Sunday brunches and educational opportunities in classical music, arts, and theater.

Our group of volunteers are coordinating a new public-private partnership that will not only keep the CVPA open but allow the Center to greatly expand its programming and reach. This includes securing the funding to make the Center both self-sustaining and revenue-generating for the Town of Munster and surrounding communities.
